This is a model which imitates the effect of reflecting water on a calm lake. The yellow bucket in the picture is full of toys and miniatures. There is a camera in a white box mounted to the narrow end of the table, so people can take pictures of the compositions they create with the toys and miniatures -- the video shows all the compositions that people made in the first installation of the project.
The project uses forced-perspective to create a narrow oval reflecting pool, from the view of the camera, the ovoid becomes an aureole, or a halo around anything the people put inside of it.
